After extensive listening trials and a fundamental rethink of loudspeaker design dogma, they developed a patented acoustic damping tube which manages sound pressure inside the cabinet. This eliminates the need for that fluffy damping material used in normal speakers, and has a somewhat obvious advantage, in that it is invisible.
