Amplifier Campion "...the Campion worked wonders, delivering near studio definition..." "Transparency is to a high order, with an excellent portrayal of three-dimensional depth..." The latest incarnation of the now legendary Campion incorporates all the aspects of the class beating original with one or two extra frills to take it into the future. Most of the changes are not visible from the outside. We make no apology for this as most of our efforts have been focused on the electronic circuitry behind the solid exterior, taking advantage of component technology to further refine the sonic reproduction abilities of the amplifier. A solid state line integrated amplifier with an output stage running in class A/B mode using Bipolar Junction Transistors, the Campion has 5 inputs and one line level output. Two of the inputs(CD and DIR) are passive with the remaining three active suiting low output program sources like tape machines and some phono stages. A version of the Campion amplifier is now available with a medium gain phono stage in place of one of the active line inputs at no extra cost to the line integrated version. A power amplifier version of the Campion is also available.
