6B-SST

Bryston is pleased to announce the availability of our new 6B-SST - 3 Channel Power Amplifier.

The 6B-SST is a new modular design from Bryston packaged in a convenient single chassis. Each modular channel contains all the electronic circuitry, connections and independent power supply. The chassis simply provides Soft-start AC to each channel and a separate power LED illuminates on the front panel indicating individual channel power status.

The Bryston 6B-SST provides 3 X 300 watts per channel at 8 ohms or 3 X 500 watts per channel at 4 ohms. Three completely separate and independent power supplies are employed to prevent any possibility of channel to channel cross-talk or interference.

The 6B-SST can be utilized in a typical 5 plus 1 audio/video installation where high quality power for the two front and one center channel is required. It is also an excellent choice for existing high quality audio/video sound systems demanding the addition of a center channel and two independent and discrete surround channels. Two 6B's can be utilized when a complete 5 plus 1 channel audio/video system is installed and the subwoofer requires an external independent power source. A further application for the 6B-SST would be in a stereo system comprised of loudspeakers which allow for tri-amplifying the individual drivers either passively or actively.
